Our milk is deliverd right from our farm to the customers door steps and hence the Milk that is received by our customers is able to retain the best of its goodness and quality. We are constantly working towards improving the breeds of our buffalo's to get better yield of milk both in quantity and quality.

Every Buffalo goes through a health test before entering the farm and also at regular intervals during their stay at the farm, this check-ups assures us that only healthy buffalo's are inducted into our farms.

Mr Narhari Barot

Mr Narhari Barot (Born on 29th October, 1935) has great entrepreneurial spirit of a visionary as he was on the march to change the way milk was served and delivered to the customers. He is always acclaimed for his dynamic, pioneering and hardworking nature. His unique vision redefined the potential of the milk business as he challenged the conventional ways of doing milk business in several ways. He visualised the growth of JagdishDugdhalay as an integral part of his grand vision. He was convinced that JagdishDugdhalay could supply good quality milk, procured in hygienic environment and set examples for others to follow his vision.With his great vision and hard work he ensured a stable business growth for JagdishDugdhalay without compromising on quality and maintained good customer relations for all these years.

Jitesh Barot

Jitesh Barot the great visionary and the second generation of the JagdishDugdhalay family, led by the spirited and enterprising skills has successfully carried forward the legacy of JagdishDugdhalay and transformed the company into one of the most technologically advanced dairy plants in the region with the launch of Narhari Farms which is a fully automated dairy farm, equipped with the most advanced equipment’s and technology in the dairy farming industry.
Apart from milk the company has also successfully ventured into butter, ghee, khoa and a very successful Madhurima Sweets brand. With more than 5000 daily customer and a strong distribution network not only in Kalyan but also in Ulhasnagar and expanding rapidly. His business success lies in giving customer satisfaction the top priority and always assure best quality assurance and hygiene.

Benefits of Buffalo Milk

Rich in Protein

Buffalo milk is a storehouse of proteins and contains all the 9 amino acids. One cup of buffalo milk will contain around 8.5gm of protein and if you drink 2 glasses every day, you would be consumingapprox 19gm of protein. The milk with high protein content in it will help prevent muscle loss.
High in Minerals

Buffalo milk is extremely rich in calcium and essential for your bone and dental health. The milk is also a good source of other minerals such as magnesium, potassium and phosphorus. It is also a rich source of iron. Iron is an element that helps our red blood cells supply oxygen to various parts of the body.
Rich in Vitamins

The creamy milk is a rich source of riboflavin and vitamin B12. A study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry concluded that increasing the intake of vitamin B12 can significantly reduce the chances of heart attack and stroke. vitamine A&C also found in milk.
Low in Cholesterol

A common health issue most people face these days is higher cholesterol levels. Buffalo milk is significantly low in cholesterol and can thus be a healthy option for those suffering from diabetes and heart diseases. Additionally, the milk also aids in bringing down your LDL or bad cholesterol levels.

Milk Types

Raw Milk

Raw Milk is chilled to 4 degrees and is packed then packed. We recommend that raw milk should be boiled before use and is best for making cream, ghee, butter, chenna, paneer and can be had for drinking, tea/coffee . It can also help address a large number of nutritional deficiencies you may be experiencing.
Pasteurised Milk

In pasteurisation process, the raw milk is heated upto 73 degrees celsius and instantly cooled to 4 degrees celsius. This process kills the harmful bacteria in the milk and makes the milk safe to consume without boiling. Pasteurised milk is best for drinking, adding to cereals, tea/coffee, ghee, cream, and butter.
Homogenised Milk

Homogenisation process is a mechanical process that breaks the fat in the milk and mixes the fat with the milk liquid at a molecular level. Homogenised milk need not be boiled except for making Dahi and other milk products like Kheer etc. Cream cannot be extracted from the milk as the fat contained in the milk is mixed in the milk liquid.
Skimmed Milk

The milk fat is extracted from the milk to retain only 0.5% of the fat. Since the fat(whole cream) has been extracted from the milk the milk appears to be lighter. Skimmed milk is different from toned/Double toned milk. Skimmed milk can be a good substitute to whole milk, if you are watching your weight, as it is low in calories.

Breeds

Murrah buffalo

The Murrah buffalo is originally from Haryana State of India. Daily lactation in the peak period is about 10 to 12 litres. Murrah buffalo's average body weight is 453.6 kg.
Mehsana Buffalo

Mehsana buffala from Gujarat is a very popular breed in India. Their average daily lactation is about 8 to 10 litres per day. Mehsana Buffalo is mainly black in color or totally brown.
Jaffarabadi Buffalo

Jaffarabadi buffaloes are mainly found in the kathiawar district of Gujarat. The average yield quantity per day is about 10 - 12 litres with exceptionally high fat content in the milk and butter.
Bhadawari Buffalo

Bhadawari Buffalo is found in Bhadawari tehsil (Agra district) and Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh, and Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh.This breed is light or copper coloured .
